Stomach virus

Heidi suffered from bouts of stomache and had been whining throughout the night. After breakfast, Heidi rested on our sofa and back to sleep again. A number of teachers and kids from The child care centre contracted the virus too. Hope I would not catch the virus, feeling feverish and funny stomach sensation.

Courage

Last Saturday, Heidi had mustered enough courage to walk into her classroom on her own. Bravo! Seems like it is worth the money spent even with one ounce of courage coming from her.

Before class, it was bunny time at forum galleria play ground.

Super memory

Heidi was unhappy when she saw Oliver's piece of window art aeroplane, and had been lamenting about it. Why I did not bring her and bring Oliver? To pacify her, I promised that I will bring her to make the window art. That happened almost one month ago.

This evening, we decided to eat out. As I was holding a Groupon voucher to purchase yogurt at Vivocity, we headed out there. On the way towards the car park, Heidi exclaimed that she wanted to make the window art. I was taken aback by Heidi's super good memory. Omg. Don't ever make promises if you cannot fulfil it to this young lady. She remembers it for life.

Speech and drama class at Julia Gabriel

Not too sure if I have made the right decision. I was contemplating between I can read and JG drama class. At the end, it was JG drama class. Although Heidi could pick up words very fast, this girl lacks the social confidence especially in unfamiliar environment. These days, Heidi has slowly learnt to warm up to my friends, as observed by them. They find Heidi more talkative and interactive with them. Last year, her teacher commented that Heidi kept to herself during Singing and dancing class. She would sit at a corner to observe and not participate. This has been rather worrying for me. At the school concert, Heidi was also overwhelmed and tear on the stage. Hopefully, attending drama class helps.

First class today and Heidi needed to be coaxed to sit in her class on her own. We observed her and she, as expected, did not participate in class. Gosh, she reminded me so much of myself when I was younger. I was extremely introvert at school, partly due to my family state of affairs and my constant changing of AM/PM sessions which meant a new start to making friends. Think my childhood had been rather drama than Heidi. Well, let's see how things go next week.

Happiness is

When my girl came home this evening and said I love you.

Finally a breadmaker!

After considering for many months, I have finally decided to buy a bread maker. For the past months, I have been reading reviews and comments on the type of breadmaker to buy. And, I decide that it will be an expensive decision. Zojirushi elephant that is. To save money, I have surfed through past Robinson promotions and others. At promotion, the breadmaker still cost about 350 or more. With much luck, I chanced upon a forum and found out that I could get this elephant for only $295. I told Boon Heng about this good buy. He said that I had to get it since I have had been talking about getting one for a long while.

Today gonna be the day! Away I go to Goh Ah Bee at Kovan... Here I come, dear elephant!

And to my dear babies at home, how about some homemade healthy bread ^_^
