Bedtime talk
What do you want to be when you grow up?
Heidi: I want to be a princess.
Oliver: princess is not real.
Heidi: Then I want to be a giraffe.
Oliver: Only God can turn you into a giraffe.
Heidi: Then I want to be Heidi.
What about you Oliver?
Oliver: I want to be God.
How to be one? I asked.
Oliver: Have to ask God.

Swimming Certificate
Coach Grace comment : Heidi has improved tremendously in her water confidence and motor skills. She is now relaxed enough to float easily and this helps greatly in flutter kicks. She will be exposed to learn flutter kicks with her false aid merged and bubbles blowing.

I love my new bed
My new bed finally arrived on Monday 27 Feb after almost one month of waiting. It cost me $3,300 for a king size mattress with headboard. It was after much reading over the Internet on the different brands of bed before making up my mind on the Slumberland TempSmart II that come with Horse Hair. When I chat with the friends and ask about horse hair, none of them seemed to know about using horse hair as bed materials. Totally intrigued by the use of horse hair in bed mattress, I decided to do a bit of research on it, and interestingly the use of horse was in fact nothing new.
The New York Times in July 2007 published an article "The money's in the mattress". Read this link on mattress that could cost you $20,000 and more.

If one day, you strike lottery, do consider buying a bed from Hastens and please let me go to your place to try it out. You will make my dream of owning one come almost true!

More about Horsehair
More about Horse Hair..Few materials can match horsehair when it comes to making a bed. Horsehair comes with its own, extremely effective, built-in ventilation system.
Moisture passes through the hollow strands so quickly that if you wet horsehair with water and give it a shake, it dries straight away. So horses have their own air conditioning system that keeps them dry in the heat of summer. This quick-drying property is perfect for a mattress because body temperatures often transform into moisture in the form of perspiration.
